Lots to say...but let me just start by describing the fabulous welcome to Seattle we received from Jake and Anna. They had been to Pike's Place Market. (This is a famous market, the one where they throw fish to eachother and sing and stuff...only Anna had never heard of it and was annoyed at all of the people standing around taking pictures and watching and why the heck are they throwing fish and singing?)
They picked up fresh-caught crab, scallops and mussels; along with fresh vegetables, cheese, grapes and loaves of yummy crusty bread. It was so good.
Take a look at this fabulous spread:
great proboscis, Cory. The nose knows.
ReplyDeleteThat was by far the best food all year 2008 (last dinner). Hats off to Jake who prepared all of the sea-food! But the company always makes the food taste better (or worse) definately better in this case. Thanks again for a perfect start-off to vacation.
ReplyDeleteI still think the food you eat is wierd. I can't believe you don't starve to death. The whole dinner looks like the finger food you get at parties where everyone has to go home and eat again anyways. You need a giant bowl of mashed potatoes or something.
ReplyDeleteI love my daughter!
ReplyDeleteyeah, we gotta love our corn-fed minnesota girls!
