Jacina and Aldo Coelho. I am renting a house in back of their place here in Brazil, but they invite me for dinner all the time. I love them. They speak no English and I speak no Portuguese. But tonight I pantomimed a story about how my dad wipes his boogers on his pants, and then later wipes his hands on his pants to clean his hands. Aldo told me that nobody will want to marry a girl who wipes things on her pants.
Its like living with Mom and Dad. Is Audo worried you are not married and thus the advice?
ReplyDeleteI guess. But those kinds of sentiments cannot be pantomimed.

ReplyDeleteOk, I know I was here for all of this and that I read this story already but man it made me laugh tonight. And man I needed a laugh. Do you remember that lady in Thailand who tried to tell me that itty bitty dress could be "make big" and I looked down at my body then at the dress and said- I don't think so... and she said "yes, for you!" and I looked at the tiny three inches by three inches boob-cups and pointed to mine and said, "I don't think so" and she picked up the dress and took the cups then cupped mine in her hands and streeeeeeeeeeeeetched the dress over them?
haaaHAAAAAAHAHAH!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love that picture on the bottom. I don't know why. I just love it so much.
ReplyDeleteMe too, Sarah, me too.
